Yes, the hostel is open!

COVID-19 (coronavirus) has had a serious impact on businesses across the board, hospitality included. The hostel, though open, has made changes to accommodate and protect our staff and guests during this time. Please note our safety measures below.

 

A MASK IS REQUIRED in all public spaces (a.k.a. any time you're outside your room).

 

ALL GUESTS ARE SUBJECT TO A TEMPERATURE CHECK AT CHECK IN. We will use a contact-free thermometer for all guests at check in. Guests with a temperature over 99.6 F will not be accommodated. Don't want your temperature taken at check in? Stay somewhere else.

Here is what we are doing to keep everyone safe:

  • We are still welcoming travelers with extreme social distancing. Guests who arrive with a cough, signs of fever, or any cold-like symptoms will not be allowed to stay and referred to Denver Health. Every effort is being made to maintain extreme cleanliness, and we have placed free hand sanitizer in all public spaces.

  • Dormitories are all at half capacity! No more top bunks! Yay!

  • Speaking of cleaning - we use commercial grade disinfecting cleaners always, and are disinfecting public areas regularly to ensure everyone stays safe. 

  • All public spaces, including the kitchen, are closed until further notice. We sincerely apologize for how this changes the hostel vibe, and hope to open them when we feel safe to do so.

  • At the moment, we are offering affordable longer-term stay rates in private rooms for any travelers seeking lodging or those currently relocating in Denver. The state of Colorado is under a "Safer at Home" model, meaning Coloradans and visitors must wear a mask when in public at all times. Restaurants have social distancing guidelines and many are offering carry out.
