Take Me Out to the Ball Game (& A Night on the Town)

One of the most authentic ways to live the Denver lifestyle is to attend a Rockies game. Wear your favorite royal purple attire and cheer on our beloved team at Coors Field. Tickets can start around $10 if you search for a deal (or if you wait until a few days prior to game day, the prices typically drop!).

With so many food and beverage choices at the ballpark, deciding what to eat while at the game can be overwhelming. Try out The Rooftop, situated in the upper right-field deck with standing room overlooking the field. The area houses a craft beer patio, burger joint, and bar.

If you’re looking for traditional baseball grub, there are concession stands hugging the sides of the park with hot dogs, nachos, and burgers galore.

As the game carries on and the sun eventually sets, you’ll consider post-game plans. Fortunately, Coors Field is centrally located in LoDo (Lower Downtown), with many bars and restaurants just a quick walk away.

Wynkoop Brewing Company is a 7-minute walk away with a variety of beers brewed in-house and craft beers from around the country. They also have quality bar food and meals for the hungry game-goers. We recommend the chicken caprese panini with fries for a delicious bite.

For those who are still in the sports mindset, Rhein Haus, a German-style beer hall, has indoor bocce ball fields. Play while sipping a local brew or craft cocktail. Try Ratio’s Heart Tattoo beer for some fruity notes.

If you missed your ice cream fix during the game, you won’t want to miss out on a late night treat at Milkbox Ice Creamery, located inside Union Station. Try a boozy milkshake made right in front of you with any of their signature ice cream flavors.
