we made this for you.

These are the places we frequent: our favorite spots to grab a bite, a scoop, or a drink, and we can’t wait to share them with you! As locals spending our lives in Denver, we want you to experience the hidden gems of the city that you might not find on the typical blogger’s best of list.

And that’s a good thing.

Jelly Cafe - our favorite brunch spot just a few blocks from the hostel on 13th & Pearl. Enjoy a smothered burrito, a morning coffee with homemade whipped cream (trust us) or a cinnamon roll pancake. You can’t go wrong with their menu and happy restaurant vibe!

Leven Deli Co - Great for breakfast of lunch! We love their breakfast burrito with pastrami (a MUST) and all their sandwiches. Everything is made from scratch, and the vibes inside are so cute. A little pricier of a restaurant, but portions are large!

Cuba Cuba Cafe & Bar - Our favorite dinner spot, hands down! When it comes to immaculate atmosphere, happy vibes, and a killer menu and bar, Cuba Cuba delivers! Enjoy traditional cuban dishes while sipping your mojito. You can thank us later.

Stoney’s Bar & Grill - If you’re looking for great food and a sports bar vibe with a million beers to select from, this is your spot! Located right behind the hostel and open late!

Denver Pizza Co. - Obviously our in-house pizza shop deserves lots of love for handcrafted za’s and great tap beers. Stop in for a slice or whole pizza, or bring one home to eat in the kitchen!

DiFranco’s - Italian fair with some of the best red sauce in the United States! Open for lunch and dinner, and two blocks from the hostel!

Anise - The only place in town we will go for Vietnamese food. It’s delicious. It’s fresh, and the staff is so friendly!

City O’ City - Open for breakfast and until 2 a.m., we love the chill vibes, delicious vegetarian menu, and unique takes on literally every dish ever. The “chicken” and waffles will rock your world!

Eiskaffee Co - Right in the lobby and dishing up ice cream and coffee with unique and innovative flavors we will never get sick of. Our favorite flavor currently is earl grey shortbread!

Cherry Bean Coffee - Located right across the street, their horchata is next level, and the warm, welcoming shop will make you want to stay all day!

Roostercat Coffee House - Open late so you can get your coffee fix at all hours, this coffee shop offers good vibes and good cups of coffee just a half block from the hostel!

Liks Ice Cream - A Denver classic right off of Cheesman Park with hand churned flavors in the dozens and the yummiest smells always coming out the door!

Ti Cafe - Denver’s first Vietnamese coffee shop - and the best! Grab a drink, a snack, then explore the cute shops on South Broadway!

Denver Art Museum - Literally a block from the hostel, their exhibits and cafe make for a perfect Denver day for art lovers and those looking to explore something new.

Clyfford Still Museum - A truly one-of-a-kind museum experience featuring the art of one master. You’ll enjoy some larger-than-life pieces, unique architecture, and a fun museum experience that only takes an hour or two.

History Colorado Center - One block away from the hostel, you can find cool exhibits with so many hidden and special details about our wacky state’s history!

Museum of Nature & Science - Our favorite museum, located in City Park, and has views of the mountains. Check out the gems exhibit, the dinosaur hall (NEXT LEVEL!) and feel like a kid again!

The Kirkland - mid-century modern and art deco lovers, this space is for you! Explore an impressive museum of paintings, pottery, furniture and more!
